There’s no doubt you’d have heard of the Seiko watch brand but you may not have seen this model before. It’s a little different with a design that’s probably not to everyone’s taste. We’re used to featuring they’re better known models like the Seiko SNK809 that we’ve reviewed in the past, but this time we wanted to try something different.
The Seiko SNKM97 is a large stainless steel watch with a diameter of 43.5mm and a thickness of 12mm. It features Seiko’s Hardlex crystal to protect the face of the timepiece and is powered by a high quality automatic day date movement that again can be viewed through the exhibition style caseback on the rear of the watch.

Next up in our list of the best men’s watches under £300 is this trendy timepiece from Hugo Boss. Hugo Boss is a well known designer brand so it stands to reason you’re always paying a bit towards the brand name, that won’t surprise many of you though I’m sure.
This stainless steel timepiece features fashionable rose gold tinted hands and our markers on its chronograph style dial with a date display at the 4 o’clock position. The 41mm casing is well suited for most and is combined with a milanese style strap, this happens to be one of my favourite styles.

Orient are a historical Japanese brand known for their high quality affordable watches that combine Japanese craftsmanship with beautiful timepiece design. The dial design on this model is quite different and interesting with the date slightly overhanging the keyhole opening that exposes the 4R39 quality automatic movement.
