Hello everyone, today I wanted to feature 10 of the best atomic watches for men. An atomic watch is a timepiece that’s extremely accurate. It uses a radio controlled signal to calibrate itself and synchronize with an atomic clock.
Head below to start searching for the best atomic watch that suits your budget and requirements. If you’re looking for an affordable atomic watch I’d ignore option 10, that one definitely isn’t a cheap atomic watch.
I’ve focused on two of the best atomic watch manufacturers for today’s list. These are Citizen and Casio.
Citizen Atomic Watches
Citizen are one of the biggest affordable watch brands in the world. Their Eco-Drive solar technology can now be found in the majority of their newer watches as it proved to be so popular. This means that they are an ideal brand to consider if you’re looking for a solar atomic watch.
To be fair you really can’t go far wrong with Citizen watches as they tend to offer value for money and are known for their quality watches.
Casio Atomic Watches
The next big brand for atomic watches is Casio. You may have heard of the G-Shock, ProTrek and Edifice Casio watches for a reason, they’re well built highly functional watches that offer great value for money. These high specification watches have been the preferred timepiece of choice for those with an active outdoor lifestyle.

1. Casio G-Shock Rangeman Radio Controlled Atomic Watch
One of the best atomic watches from Casio is this solar powered digital G-Shock Rangeman. This G-Shock Rangeman is an oversized durable watch that’s packed full of features and functions.
This model has a large 53mm stainless steel casing with a thick resin surround to give it this extra protection. The thickness of the casing is 18mm making it quite a chunky watch. The strap is made of a plastic/resin and fastens with a sturdy double tang buckle clasp.
The atomic timekeeping system on this watch ensures that it’s extremely accurate, the Radio signal reception includes EU, USA, Japan, and China. Extra features of this Casio G-Shock atomic watch include a super auto LED, shock resistant build, Barometer, thermometer, digital compass, 10,000m altimeter, sunrise/sunset display, altimeter data memory, world time function, stopwatch function, 5 daily alarms, automatic calendar, and more. 2. Men’s G-Shock Casio Premium Mudmaster High Quality Atomic Watch
This is up these as one of the best atomic watches available, it is fairly expensive though so keep that in mind. The G-Shock Mudmaster by Casio is one of their higher end G-Shock watches that is absolutely full of high tech useful features for the serious outdoors man. This oversized G-Shock watch features a 51mm casing diameter with a thickness of 15mm. The casing is made of stainless steel with a thick resin protecting it. The strap is made of rubber with a Khaki colour and fastens with a buckle style clasp.
The dual display watch dial features both analogue and digital aspects to make the most of the huge amount of features available on this timepiece. Some of the features available include a digital compass, barometric pressure/altitude display, temperature readings, LED illumination, multiband 6, and tough solar movement.
The radio controlled atomic timekeeping can automatically adjust time settings based on the reception of one of sex time calibration signals around the globe, two in Japan, one in China, the United States, England, and Germany.

Here we have a more affordable atomic watch from Casio’s G-Shock collection again. This model also featured among our best affordable perpetual calendar watch list.
This fantastic value Casio G-Shock watch features an iconic casing design with a diameter of 45mm and a thickness of 15mm. The stainless steel casing makes use of the popular resin surround that protects the watch against shock. The G-Shock watch has been updated from the original to take advantage of the benefits of Tough Solar technology.
Features of this watch include a radio controlled digital atomic watch movement for excellent accuracy. It also has a world time display, perpetual calendar, backlight with auto-light technology, and an alarm function. The 200m water resistance rating is also great to have.
4. Casio Edifice Waveceptor Alarm Chronograph Solar Radio Controlled Men’s Atomic Watch

The Waveceptor ensures accuracy to the second with its use of radio controlled atomic timekeeping. It also features a solar movement so you never need a battery change. Other features of this Casio Edifice watch include an alarm function, chronograph, countdown timer, and world time display. Last but not least is the 100m water resistance rating.

5. Citizen Atomic Watch Radio Controlled Chronograph
Next up we have this popular Citizen watch that’s powered by a radio controlled E650 movement. This chunky Citizen Chrono Perpetual A-T model timepiece has a stainless steel casing with a 42mm diameter and a thickness of 13mm.
The atomic timekeeping makes it one of the most accurate watches in the world. It also has a sapphire crystal glass for excellent scratch resistance. The lume on the hands and baton style hour markers makes the watch easier to read in dim lit conditions.
Extra functions of this Citizen atomic solar watch include an alarm, date display, 24 hour dial, dual time display, tacymeter, perpetual calendar, and a 200m water resistance rating.

As you’ll find with many G-Shock watches, this model also features a ton of useful functions. These include a low temperature resistant LCD display, chronograph, illuminator, tough solar movement, perpetual calendar, world time display, and moon age and tide phase information. Here we have another very good atomic watch from Citizen. This is a chunky Citizen watch with a 42mm casing diameter and a thickness of 13mm. It’s made of stainless steel with a black ion plated finish to give it this brilliant look. You can find more popular all black watches here.
This A-T atomic timekeeping radio controlled watch is extremely accurate and features an array of useful functions. There’s a chronograph, alarm, day and month display, 24 hour dial, dual time, perpetual calendar, and tacymeter.
As with many Citizen watches it also features the Eco-Drive technology meaning it never needs as battery as it charges itself via light, be it natural or artificial.

Next up in today’s list of atomic watches for men is this smart looking Citizen Eco-Drive timepiece. I love the multi-textured dial design on this Citizen watch.
The casing of this Citizen radio controlled solar atomic watch is made of stainless steel with a diameter of 43mm and a thickness of 11mm. At the heart of the watch is an Eco-Drive H144 movement that’s extremely accurate due to the syncing up with an atomic clock.
The hands and baton style hour markers feature a coating of lume for better visibility in dim lit conditions. The watch also has a perpetual calendar and an easy set world timer. Last up on today’s list is this high-end Citizen Promaster. It’s a bit different from the rest of the list as it defintely wouldn’t count as an affordable atomic watch. This is one of Citizen’s more luxurious watches and is packed for of impressive features.
The Promaster Navihawk GPS pushes the boundaries of satellite technology. The watch is built with a Super Titanium casing and bracelet with Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) and MRK coating. The crystal protecting the front of the watch is made of sapphire and gives you a very high level of scratch resistance.
The watch features Satellite GPS Timekeeping Technology and synchronises with time adjustment that’s available in 40 time zones. It has the world’s fastest timekeeping signal reception speed from GPS navigation satellites, as quick as 3 seconds.
It also has a world time preset to 27 cities and a chronograph at 1/20 seconds measuring up to 24 hours. A perpetual calendar is a popular feature on Citizen watches too. It also features a pilot’s rotating slide rule bezel, daylight savings time indicator, power reserve indicator, light level power indicator, dual time display, alarm and UTC watch display.
