Where is the best place to buy watch batteries online?
This is understandably quite a common question when it comes to watches. These days it’s very easy to learn how to change a battery yourself. You simply buy a watch repair kit like this and then youtube the how to and there you, saving money every time from now on.
Most watches are very simple, the back either unscrews or more commonly just pops off using the special blade. Now the next question on people’s mind is where can I get a decent watch battery online from.
Why buy watch batteries online?
The beauty of the online selling world is that everyone is competing with similar items to get the same sale so they end up having a price war which is only ever good for people like you and me looking for a great deal. This means typically watch batteries are very cheap online.
Where I get my watch batteries from
Personally, I have always used Amazon. Right now as I’m typing this up, if you search for ‘watch battery‘ on Amazon you get over 56,000 results. Many of which are very affordable, for the better longer lasting renatta or duracell. Personally I always just use the cheapest option and change them when they finally wear out. I’ve never had any problems and never thought any of them have gone quickly.
I just don’t think many other online shops can really compete with the Amazon marketplace. You get the products you want quickly and at a great price. What more can you really ask for?

If you’ve never changed a battery before head over to youtube and find out just how easy it is. It’s silly to be paying £5 every time for something so simple. The only time I suggest you get a professional to look at your watch is when it comes to waterproofing and diving watches. Although even some jewellers won’t guarantee waterproof effectiveness after a battery change.
