Today I’m taking a look at 10 of the best cheap Rotary watches for men. Cheap is a funny word that I’d rather avoid using as sometimes people think you can’t get cheap and good quality, but the thing is you can. I’d much rather say affordable, and that’s more what this really is, a look at 10 of the best affordable Rotary watches.
If you’re interested in learning more about the history and quality of the brand then check out my in depth Rotary watches review.
Below I’ve taken a look at some of the most popular watches that Rotary have that I’d class as affordable, prices vary often so to get an up to date price just follow the link to see it displayed on Amazon.
If none of these are quite for you, you can view the whole list of watches that we take a look at here, Men’s Rotary watches. Alternatively why not check out my list of the top men’s watches under £500.
Right, time to get on with checking out the 10 best cheap Rotary watches for men, I hope you enjoy, comment below to let me know what you think.
1. Rotary Men’s Automatic Watch with White Dial Analogue Display and Brown Leather Strap GS00309/01
I’m pretty damn keen when it comes to skeleton style watches and Rotary and some notable, popular designs. It’s a light, elegant watch and it’s great to see it in this affordable bracket that most people are able to afford. Read my in depth Rotary GS00309/01 review.
2. Rotary Men’s Automatic Watch with White Dial Analogue Display and Black Leather Strap GS00308/21
This watch is very similar in design to the previous Rotary piece however this one has a white coloured dial with a plain steel casing. You’ll find the first 3 watches in this article are the same design, they are the most popular though, and you can kind of see why. Learn more in my Rotary GS00308/21 review.
3. Rotary Watches Men’s Automatic Watch with White Dial Analogue Display and Brown Leather Strap GS00310/01
Personally this has to be my favourite out of these 3 watches so far, I’m a sucker for the rose gold casing here. If you’re after for a smart looking skeleton watch then any of these 3 watches so far are worth considering if you ask me. Take a look at my in depth Rotary GS00310/01 review here.
4. Rotary Timepieces Men’s Quartz Watch with Blue Dial Chronograph Display and Black Leather Strap GS00323/05
For me, I have to say this dial is too busy, but then again it’s the 4th most popular Rotary watch in this price bracket so what do I know! It has a nice sized casing with a diameter of 42mm which has become the more popular size among men recently. It utilizes a quartz movement which are known to be extremely accurate. Just style wise, it’s not for me sadly.
5. Gents Gold Plated Rotary Quartz/Battery Watch with Cream Coloured Dial on a Brown Leather Strap, with Day & Date. GS02324/32
This is one of the more traditional looking Rotary watches in today’s list. It has a simple clean design whilst featuring a modest day and date display in the 3 o’clock position. The case diameter is a tad small for me at 35mm, but I do prefer my larger dials around 42mm. It’s a nice understated watch from Rotary that I’m sure many people appreciate though.
6. Rotary Watches Monaco Men’s Quartz Watch with White Dial Chronograph Display and Brown Leather Strap GS02876/06
If you take a close look at the dial on this watch you’ll spot the textured pattern that’s been used, this is something I quite like on watches when done correctly. The multi tone sub dials also offer another interesting detailing to the watch.
With the detailing on the dial this makes this watch one to consider for sure.
7. Rotary Watches Men’s Avenger Quartz Watch with White Dial Analogue Display and Black Leather Strap GS02874/06
First watch from Rotary’s avenger range, these are a re-invention of an archive Rotary watch model that dates back to 1970. I like the striking white dial, with the white detailing on the hands as well. Perfect ‘classic style’ from Rotary really.
8. Rotary Timepieces Men’s Quartz Watch with Silver Dial Analogue Display and Stainless Steel Gold Plated Bracelet GB00335/06
This is a pretty stunning looking watch if you ask me. I love the beautifully textured dial and the sub dial with the gold detailing, definitely my type of watch. Very impressed to see it in this price range that’s for sure.
This is a stainless steel watch with gold plating over the top, it’s hypo-allergenic and tarnish resistant. For people who do suffer from allergies to metal you should check out the titanium watches by Boccia, little tip for you there.
You can read more about this timepiece in my in depth Rotary GS00335/06 review.
9. Rotary Gents Green Fabric Strap Stainless Steel Chronograph Watch GS02680/19
I don’t often find watches with fabric straps in these types of lists simply because they aren’t as popular as leather or metal straps at the moment. I can see the appeal of them but they just aren’t for me. If I was looking for a more outdoors activity type watch then I’d be more willing to consider it. That being said this is still a nice edition from Rotary with a reasonable 40mm casing diameter and specially hardened mineral glass for protection against scratches.
10. Rotary Men’s Quartz Watch with Black Dial Analogue Display and Silver Stainless Steel Bracelet GB02226/10
Another classic fan favourite from Rotary with it’s notable Roman numerals and it’s standard day and date display at the 3 o’clock position. I quite like this as an every day watch to wear to work or out for dinner perhaps. Again it’s a little smaller than I would normally go for with a diameter of 36mm. I think the shape of the bezel looks impressive though, little detailing like that is what I tend to appreciate in a watch.
Hope you enjoyed having a read through and possibly found this helpful. I’m torn between watch number 3 and watch number 8 myself. Rotary have offered great quality watches for a long time now, so if you’re considering them for the first time I’m glad you came here to have a look through and see what’s best for you.
As always, comment below and I’ll see you in the next post.
