If you’re someone who loves your military style oversized watches, then these G-Shock timepieces from Casio are ideal for you. G-Shock watches are built to last, this model has a thick plastic resin that surrounds the stainless steel casing to give you this extra tough finish and high shock resistance.
This model features this interesting tiger camouflage finish on the dial. There’s an array of sub dials nicely set out and also a couple of digital displays that stand out. The hands use this interesting hollowed out design that I really like, with these white tips for easier reading.
This model has an impressive bold design with its 51mm casing diameter that really makes it stand out on your wrist, it’s chunky too with a 17mm thickness. So if you wanted something that will get noticed, then this is a great watch, note that for people with smaller wrists though it may not be so suitable.
Extra features of this G-Shock watch include a world time display, stopwatch, countdown timer, an ability to set 5 alarms, and a backlight. This makes it a highly functional watch that can be useful for many occasions. The backlight is a feature that people really like to see on their watches as it makes it much easier to read in dim lit conditions.
The watch functions using a Japanese made quartz movement, these are known to be accurate and reliable. They aren’t too costly either which is great for keeping the overall price of the watch down, something very important to Casio, offering an affordable watch.
Protecting the dial we have this mineral glass, this is specially hardened to be extra scratch resistant. It may not be as strong as sapphire glass in that sense, but it is much more shatter resistant, which is perfect for a watch that’s designed to take its fair share of bumps.
The strap is also made of this durable resin and has a width of 26mm, this is perfect to go with the whole oversized design of the watch. It has a fairly standard buckle style clasp to secure the watch.
To top the watch off it has a fantastic 200m water resistance rating. This makes the watch suitable for professional marine activity, serious surface water sports and skin diving.

The G-Shock GA-100CF-1AER is perfect for those with active lifestyles who need a watch designed with durability in mind, the thick resin makes this an extra sturdy choice. G-Shock watches have always been popular, and this model, in particular, has a good selection of extra functions and comes in that typical oversized design that’s sure to make it a winner.
