Bulova Men’s Automatic, Rose Gold, Brown Leather Strap 97A109 Review
It’s no secret that I am a massive fan of Bulova watches. I currently have 3 of their watches in my personal collection and am always receiving comments and compliments about them. I would say they are one of my top 3 recommended brands for quality affordable watches.
Just the other day I was sat getting my hair cut and the barber ended up trying it on, telling me how much he would really like a nice impressive looking watch like it. We ended up chatting about watches for about 10 minutes after having finished my hair.
Firstly let’s take a look at the specifications and watch features.
The Bulova 97A109 has a mineral crystal glass face with a large simplistic analogue display. It has a quality genuine leather strap with a traditional buckle which is plated rose gold along with the watch casement.
The watch case itself is 45 millimeters in width and as mentioned previously is also rose gold plated onto stainless steel. The rose gold look has been becoming more popular in reason years and nicely blends in with the dark brown of the leather strap and the black of the dial.

An Automatic self winding movement. This means the watch will continue to charge whilst you wear it and doesn’t require a battery. If however, you haven’t worn the watch for a few days you can simply rotate the crown clockwise approximately 35-45 times, this will keep the mainspring tight and keep a full power reserve for the movement.

The Bulova 97A109 is suitable for both work and casual wear, I normally mix it up with some brown brogues, jeans and a shirt with the sleeves rolled up for a smart casual look. The watch is bound to get noticed, with a slightly larger design the watch is easy to read and looks sharp. This watch also features a glass back as seen in the earlier images. When I’m chatting to my friends about my watches I quite often show them all the workings through the back case of the watch.
