At least four robbers burst their way into Swiss Time Machine in Avery Row, London armed with knives and sledge hammers. Swiss Time Machine is known for selling watches up to £59,000 in value.
The gang took their sledge hammers to the cabinets and stole the expensive time pieces making a get away on their motorbikes
One man so far has been arrested after the raid that happened around 10.15am today.
A police spokesman issued the following statement: ”
A police spokesman said: “Shortly after 10.15am today police were called to reports of a robbery of a jeweller’s on Avery Row, W1, by males on motorcycles armed with knives and hammers. Officers have attended and so far one man has been arrested.”
