Swiss Military Swiss Soldier Chrono Prime Men’s Quartz Watch 6-4233.04.007 Review
Hello today I’m going to be doing a Swiss Military watch 6-4233.04.007 review. I actually reviewed another one of their watches recently and was so impressed with the value for money considering the parts they used that I decided I should really featured more of their watches here. If you get a chance check out my top 9 Swiss Military watches which showcases a few of their watches.

Anyway I’ll get on with my 6-4233.04.007 review below and you can buy it on Amazon today, enjoy.
My Initial Thoughts On This Watch
Again this company offers another watch with brilliant value for money. It’s 100% Swiss made and features a anti reflection sapphire crystal with a hypo-allergenic stainless steel case. I quite like the whole style of the dial, nice and neat, they’ve even managed to find a little spare to include a small date indicator which I think sits comfortably in that position. Again if you’re looking for value for money, this brand offers such a good selection. Lets look more into the details below so I can explain a bit.
Type of glass
This watch features one of some of the best possible protection for your watch from scratches on the dial. Normally you’d expect to see a mineral crystal on a watch in this price range but you’ve actually got a sapphire crystal which is 3 times tougher with a Mohs rating of 9. The glass also has an anti reflective finish which is another nice touch to be proud of. I’d normally only expect a sapphire glass in watches above £350 but this is part of the odd few I find with it in a cheaper watch.
The casing diameter of this watch is 39mm which is classed as average. These days most men’s watches are 42mm which I tend to prefer but that’s actually a large. I’m prepared to accept an ever so slightly smaller watch though as I don’t feel it makes a huge difference. The thickness of the watch is 10mm which again is classed as average. This means the watch isn’t going to be overly bulky and will sit nicely on your wrist underneath a shirt cuff for example. Overall the watch has a slightly dress watch feel to it with the sizing but I think works nicely myself.
This Swiss watch features a day and date display making use of the chronograph features for the day of the week and having the date tucked nicely to the bottom right of the face. Considering the design of the dial they’ve gone for here I think they’ve done a great job fitting this in without ruining it. What do you think of it?
Watch strap and clasp
They’ve decided to go for a black genuine leather with a width of 20mm. This is a good sized strap to fit in with the casing size. The strap has a standard buckle clasp. I think this is acceptable and wouldn’t expect anything more advance.

All in all a very good watch with quality parts. The sapphire glass is a brilliant features to me, last thing you want is to get a scratch on any of your watch fronts, puts me off wearing them. I like the whole design they’ve gone for, yes could have been larger but I don’t believe 3mm will make a huge difference to me. Would I be prepared to recommend this to a friend? Yes quite happily, no doubt about it. What do you think of this watch? Let me know in the comments below.
