Skagen 6180 Technical specifications

To get things started I wanted to take a quick glace at the technical specifications for this Skagen timepiece. This gives you the chance to have a quick glance over some of the most important aspects of the timepiece. For example, some people wouldn’t want to go for an overly large watch.

  • Model Number: SKW6180
  • Crystal Material: Mineral crystal
  • Case Diameter: 40mm
  • Case Thickness: 10mm
  • Movement: Quartz
  • Water Resistance: 50m
  • Strap Material: Stainless steel

Dial and Casing Design

The dial of this Skagen Holst watch has a minimalistic style design to it with two sub dials that are used to display the date and day of the week. The hands and hour markers are all easily visible against the grey gunmental finish of the background.

The casing of the timepiece has a diameter of 40mm which is a popular mens size at the moment. This thickness of the case is just 10mm giving it a nice and slim profile on your wrist too. The crown for this model sits at the 3 o’clock position on the casing.

Strap & Clasp

This style of mesh strap happens to be one of my favourites right now. I find them to be very comfortable and easy to operate and alter the size of. It fastens with a simple and secure fold over clasp. This stainless steel mesh strap has a width of 18mm which works well with the 40mm casing size.

The Skagen 6180 Movement

Powering this men’s Skagen watch is a Japanese made quartz movement. These are often found in many affordable watches, they’re accurate, reliable and require little maintenance to stay running.

Crystal

On the front of the timepiece is a mineral crystal glass lens. This gives you a decent level of both scratch and shatter resistance. It’s commonly found on watches in this price range and is exactly what I expected this model to come with.
