Seiko SNZH55 Watch Review
This Seiko SNZH55 is a sports/diver style timepiece with a large high visibility display that’s typical of these types of watches.
The dial features these wide lume coated hands as well as some slimmer lume coated hour markers. There’s also a useful day and date display located at the 3 o’clock position.
The bezel is black in colour and can be rotated unidirectionally. It has minute numbering on the bezel.
The casing is made of stainless steel and features an exhibition caseback on the rear of the watch. Also note the crown of the watch does not screw down.
Seiko SNZH55 Type Of Crystal
This Seiko timepiece features a Hardlex crystal glass which is a proprietary technology of Seiko. It’s tougher than mineral crystal glass, giving you a good standard of scratch and knock resistance.
Seiko SNZH55 Watch Movement
At the heart of this Seiko watch is the popular 7S36 automatic 23 jewel movement. This movement doesn’t feature manual winding or hacking. It has a 43 hour power reserve and beats at 21,600 BPH giving it a smooth 6 ticks per second movement.
Seiko SNZH55 Watch Size
The Seiko SNZH55K1 has a large 41mm casing diameter (not including the crown). The thickness of this casing comes in at approximately 13mm. Overall a very good size that should prove popular for most men.
Seiko SNZH55 Strap
The strap of this Seiko watch is made of stainless steel and has a width of 22mm. It’s a replaceable band so if you wish to swap it out for something different, you have the option to do so.
Seiko SNZH55K1 Extra Features
This model features an exhibition caseback which is one of my favourite things to see on a watch. This allows you to take a look at the inner workings of the watch through a glass caseback.
Seiko SNZH55K1 Water Resistance Rating
This Seiko watch has a 100m water resistance rating which is the minimum you’d expect from a diver’s style watch. A 100m or 10 bar rating makes this watch suitable for recreational surfing, swimming, snorkeling, sailing and water sports.

My Final Thoughts On This Seiko SNZH55 Review:
It’s well worth checking out my 14 Best Seiko 5 watches where you can take a look at many of the top timepieces from Seiko.
It’s another great hard working timepiece from Seiko. The 100m water resistance rating and the workhorse 7S36 movement make this a timepiece that’s well worth considering.
