Movado 0606502 Watch Review
This men’s Bauhaus watch features Movado’s iconic dot dial design. This signature design features a dot at the 12 o’clock position with an otherwise simplistic finish to the rest of the dial. There are two silver coloured dauphine hands and not seconds hand which is common for minimalistic timepieces.
The casing of the watch is made of stainless steel and has a diameter of 40mm with a thickness of 8mm. The crown has a simple push down function and is found at the 3 o’clock position.
Type Of Crystal
Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal glass. It’s a highly scratch resistant glass that’s found on many high-end watches. With a Mohs hardness rating of 9, you’d effectively need a diamond to scratch it. The only downside to sapphire crystal glass is that it’s not as shatter resistant as the cheaper mineral glass.
Watch Movement
At the heart of this Movado men’s watch is a Swiss made quartz movement for excellent timekeeping and accuracy. Quartz movements tend to be popular as they require very little maintenance, and Swiss made versions are often the most sought after.
Strap
The strap on this legendary watch is made of a black coloured calfskin genuine leather and fastens with a buckle style clasp finished with a silver coloured buckle to match the casing. The strap has a width of approximately 22mm.
Water Resistance Rating
This watch has a 30m water resistance rating. A 30m or 3 bar rating makes this watch suitable for everyday use. Splash/rain resistant.

This is a beautifully designed elegant timepiece that’s perfect for anyone looking for a higher end minimalist watch. The watch is well made with some high-quality specifications like the Swiss movement and sapphire crystal glass which is great to see. It’s a relatively affordable watch that offers value for money in my opinion.
