This watch has a large chronograph display as well as a useful date function between the 4 and 5 hour markers. I love this detailing around the outer part of the dial, it adds a little something extra to the design that I really appreciate. The watch has quite an easy to read design with a good contrast between the hands and background of the dial.
The casing itself is made of stainless steel with two pushers to operate the chronograph functions as well as a crown protector which is a feature I like to see every now and then.
1513080 Type Of Crystal
This watch from Hugo Boss features a mineral crystal glass. This type of glass is specially hardened to offer a good level of scratch and knock resistance. It’s fairly common in watches around this price range so it’s no surprise to find it in this model, overall I’m quite happy with it.

At the heart of this watch is a quartz movement. This type of movement is popular due to being very reliable and having a good level of accuracy. Again it’s quite typical of many of these watches and used in multiple Hugo Boss watches.

This watch has quite a large casing design with a diameter measuring 44mm. The thickness of the watch comes in at approximately 12mm. A 44mm casing is quite popular at the moment as people seem to go for larger and larger watches. It’s worth keeping in mind that for people with smaller wrists these larger watches may not be ideal.

The strap itself is made of stainless steel and measures roughly 22mm in width. It fastens with a double locking fold over clasp. Some people can find these a little hard to operate as it lacks the push release function, that being said it does leave a very flush finish all the way around the wrist.

I’ve always been quite a big fan of Hugo Boss watches. Yes, you have to accept you are somewhat paying for the brand name, but I feel the watches are good quality and always very stylish. I love the detailing around the outer part of the dial on this model, it has a very smart finish to it yet it can still be worn day to day however you like.
