12 Best Star Projector
Hey everyone, something a little different again today but I thought we’d look at some of the best Star Projectors currently available.
I quite enjoy putting these lists together and everyone seems to enjoy having a skim through them and spotting new things they like the look of. Today’s list looks at some of the best affordable star projectors, as well as night lights, and even some higher end complete planetary projectors.
My favourite one is number 11, it’s a higher end model but the features are incredibly impressive so it’s hard to ignore it. I also included something a little different at number 12 if you fancied a small affordable gadget to have a play around with.

This little star projector from Inoo Tech offers some fantastic value for money. It’s very affordable and offers you a choice of flashing multi-coloured stars, warm white stars or warm white and multi-coloured. A really affordable way to add some nice ambiance to a room. The lights rotate gently nice and slow so it doesn’t hurt your eyes at all and isn’t like some crazy disco. You have to choice of battery power or USB plug which can come in handy. Overall a great starter projector that makes a beautiful LED night light lamp.

This affordable star projector is perfect for children. It’s a 4pcs LED beads star projector with warm light, blue light, green light, and red light. The night light has a cute small design and can be powered by USB into a wall adapter or computer, or with 4 AAA batteries. Overall a really nice star projector that will keep the kids busy and add a nice effect to the room.

This next affordable light projector has the option to display 7 colours with its LED ocean display. It can be adjusted between 0 – 30 degrees and features an energy saving function and can be set to automatically turn off after one hour. There’s an added speaker function via a 3.5mm audio jack so you can add in some relaxing music if you feel the need to. I think this model gives you a really nice effect onto the wall or ceiling.

This neat little star projector has some interesting features. It’s aimed for people with babies and has a selection of 10 lullabies like: Oh My Darling, Mary Had a Little Lamb, Baa Baa Black Sheep, and more. With its sound activation mode it can automatically turn on its soothing sounds and melodies when it sense a baby’s cry. There’s a selection of different plates that go over the light section to give you different atmospheres to display. Another really affordable star projector to consider.

The remote controlled projector has a choice of 7 colours to choose from and can rotate its pattern at 3 different speeds. There’s also a mode that flashes to the beat of music which can be quite interesting. The Niubier projector has a clever stand which allows you to angle it quite easily which can come in handy. It also comes with quite a long power cable at one 1.3m.

This is another brilliant night light to use in the childrens bedroom. There’s actually a few cute designs available, this model is Eddie the elephant, but there’s also Betty the bee, Frankie the frong, as well as a couple of other animals. The night light projector has 4 colour LED display with blue, red, green or all colours (light show). A handy power saving features is the 15, 30, or 45 minute auto shut off timer. There’s also a 5 different sounds to play from lullabies to nature to help give a better nights rest. Well worth checking the other designs out on this one, they’re pretty awesome.

This is another neat little star projector, it only has the one colour unlike some of the previous projectors featured. The simulated stars are projected onto the ceiling or walls with a rotating effect and alternating green lights. There’s 6 digital recordings to play with sound effects like rain, ocean waves, waterfalls, a bubbling brook, or various birds to create a calm atmosphere. This star projector requires 3 AA batteries which aren’t included.

This star projector theater is a little different to the previous models. As you can see from the image it displays the constelations with their names and images along with stars and planets so it can provide a learning expierence. The light projector also comes with 3D glasses to provide a great expierence. This star projector requires 4 AA batteries which aren’t included.

This is a premium lighting system that can be projected up to 20m and shines 1500+ blinking spots of red and green lights to cover up to a 625 ft space. It’s suitable for indoor or outdoor use and can be equipped with a sturdy ground stake. The image moves automatically and the system can be controlled by a remote control. This one is well worth checking out if you’re after something a bit more serious.

This is one of my favourite star projectors on this list. It can project 10,000 stars and project the actual Northern Hemishere onto your walls or ceiling. It comes with a 30 minute auto shut off function to save battery which can also come in useful. The Edu Science Star Projector also includes “CyberSky 5” an educational astronomy program with accurate maps of stars, constellations, sky and solar system. It requires 4 AA batteries which aren’t included.
11. Best Planetarium Projector Sega Toys Homestar Pro Star Theatre

This is a high end planetarium projecter by Sega Toys. Sega Toys are a market leading brand and this model projects an amazing 60,000 stars, that’s pretty crazy!
The Homestar series was designed by the Japanese inventor Takayuki Ohira, a recognized expert for professional planetariums. His work includes the Cosmos Model no. 3 or the Megastar II Cosmos, the world’s most advanced planetarium in the Guinness Book of Records. His expertise is part of this Homestar Original too.
The lenses project an amazingly accurate sky with 60,000 stars onto the ceiling or wall. Rotational movement is possible. Two interchangeable projection discs with the stars of the northern hemisphere allow you to observe the night sky as it is visible to us. With the “shooting star” function you can even dream beyond! Projection angle and focus are adjustable and a convenient timer is used to automatically turn it off.

The last item I wanted to feature in this list is a little different. It’s not a star projector but I did think it would be of interest to people who were looking at today’s list. This little gadget is 6 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches deep but uses a clever effect to appear much deeper. It’s very affordable and just a little fun item worth considering if you’re already getting one of the other items as it compliments it quite well. It uses 3 AA batteries and these aren’t included.
