Stuhrling 571.33152 Watch Review
A key feature of this watch is this brilliant skeleton dial design. There’s a good amount of the automatic movement on show which is a really popular trend at the moment. I love the blue detailing on the dial as well with the thin leaf style hands. The separate sub-dial acts as a dual time display. The casing itself is made of a sturdy stainless steel and has an exhibition caseback, one of my favourite features.
Type Of Crystal
Like many other Stuhrling watches this model features a Krysterna crystal glass. This is seen as a slight advantage over traditional mineral crystal glass. It offers a good level of protection against both scratches and shattering.
Watch Movement
At the heart of the watch is an automatic movement. These are great as they never require a battery because they are wound up and powered by the movement of the wearer’s wrist. They’re pretty reliable but if left unworn for an extended period of time will need to be re-wound and the time reset again.
Watch Size
This is quite a large watch with a casing diameter measuring 44mm. The thickness of the case is 14mm which actually makes it slightly chunky, but nothing too over the top. Overall, this is a popular size for men’s watches, the only issue is that these bigger timepieces don’t always suit people with smaller wrists.
Strap
The strap is made of a soft genuine leather and features an alligator style embossed finish. It measures 24mm in width which is a nice size to accompany the larger casing design. The strap fastens with a standard buckle style clasp.
Extra Features
One of the best features in my opinion of this watch is the exhibition style caseback. This is a glass backing that allows you to take a look at the inner workings of the automatic movement.
Water Resistance Rating
The water resistance rating for this watch is fairly average with a 5 bar of 50m rating. This 50m rating makes it suitable for swimming, white water rafting, non-snorkeling water related work, and fishing.
